Alexander Corrado is an attorney with Ryan Law, where he focuses his practice representing taxpayers in real estate tax appeals before the Tax Court of New Jersey and New Jersey’s county boards of taxation. Prior to joining Ryan Law, Alexander served as Special Tax Counsel to numerous municipalities, including the City of Jersey City, the City of Paterson, the Town of Guttenberg, the Town of West New York, and Bloomfield Township.
Alexander’s practice encompasses all aspects of local property taxation in New Jersey, which includes litigating complex real estate tax appeal cases involving office complexes, hotels, manufacturing facilities, general industrial and warehouse properties, regional malls, retail centers, warehouses,apartment complexes, data centers, condominiums, and golf courses.
Alexander also handles a multitude of property tax exemption matters in New Jersey involving religious, educational, charitable, hospital, assisted living and nursing home exemption issues as well as farmland assessment and farmland roll-back tax issues.
In addition to his experience as a property tax attorney, Alexander is a seasoned New Jersey litigator with experience in handling construction disputes, including contract issues, bid protests, insurance, warranty, cost overruns, and defective construction. Alexander has also handled Tort Claims under N.J.S.A. 59:1-1, et seq., CEPA claims, LAD claims and §1983 claims.
