Jack M. Olsen is a seasoned attorney who represents a wide range of commercial property tax clients, guiding them through the entire protest process from inception to resolution. He advocates for clients in both informal and formal administrative hearings, and effectively advances their positions through arbitration, settlement negotiations, and litigation.
Jack’s practice focuses on the hospitality and retail sectors, with particular expertise in handling matters related to hotels, shopping centers, office buildings, and agricultural use properties. He has a proven track record of managing all aspects of litigation from initial case development through to resolution, including conducting depositions, drafting pleadings, and arguing motions in court.
Before joining Ryan Law, Jack represented numerous business clients in complex, multi-party lawsuits, focusing on premises liability, product liability, employment law, construction defects, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death. He achieved favorable settlements for a Fortune 100 company and authored a successful summary judgment motion for a Fortune 200 technology company. Jack also provided legislative and regulatory counsel to healthcare facilities and successfully represented hospitals and long-term care facilities in guardianship proceedings.
Jack earned his B.S. from the University of Arkansas in 2014. He then earned his J.D. in 2017 from Baylor Law School.
