With experience in civil litigation, Matthew represents clients in tax disputes, with a particular focus on property tax litigation. As a tax litigator, Matthew assists commercial property tax clients in Texas through all stages of the property tax dispute process, from protest to litigation resolution.

Before joining Ryan Law, Matthew practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Austin, where he represented plaintiffs in product liability, cargo loss, construction defect, and wildfire-related mass tort litigation. Matthew earned a B.A., with high honors and special honors in Philosophy, from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019 and a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2024. During law school, he served as a student attorney in the Capital Punishment Clinic and interned for the Honorable Marcia Crone of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
