With over 3 years as a property tax litigator, Michael has acquired a firm understanding of both property valuation and the litigation landscape. He has garnered diverse litigation experience: practicing in the most-populous counties of the state as well as many of the outlying counties. He has engaged in frequent motion practice and hearing argumentation, including recent success at the trial court level and ensuing appellate work advancing taxpayer interests in connection with the “circuit breaker” limitation on property value. Michael is a member of the TAPTP Bridge Committee to the Texas Legislature and is also involved in mentorship efforts at his local bar organization and Texas A&M School of Law.

Before joining Ryan Law, Michael established his litigation background at Kline Law Firm, and before that, developed specialized expertise in property valuation methods while working at a leading property tax consulting firm.

“Being a member of the Ryan Law team allows me to leverage my soft skills and experience alongside the deep bench of assembled collective competencies. It provides me with a tremendous sense of pride to be at the vanguard of such an innovative approach that maximizes the savings for the taxpayer and to join the esteemed ranks of such skilled colleagues.”
