David M. Lavin joins Ryan Law Firm, PLLC as Partner

Ryan Law Firm, PLLC (“Ryan Law”) is proud to welcome David M. Lavin to the firm as a Partner in the Property Tax litigation practice to represent real estate clients in Illinois. He will be based in Ryan Law’s Chicago, Illinois office.

David is a trial specialist who brings twenty years of both local and national real property tax litigation experience. He received his Juris Doctorate at DePaul University College of Law and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Illinois State University. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law and formerly served as Deputy Supervisor of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Real Estate Tax Division. David was previously a partner at Schiller, Strauss, & Lavin, PC and was partner and senior counsel at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, LLC in Chicago. He also was a prosecutor in the Felony Trial Division and Bureau of Special Prosecutions, Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
