Ryan Law Firm Announces Dallas Partner Michael Moore’s Promotion to Director of Litigation

Dallas Partner Michael Moore was recently promoted to Director of Litigation. With offices across the United States and Canada, Ryan Law advocates for taxpayers in various state and local tax (SALT) matters.

Michael is licensed in the State of Texas, the Federal Courts of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation and ad valorem tax appeals, having represented individuals and businesses in court for over a decade.

Since joining Ryan Law in 2018, Michael has litigated hundreds of ad valorem property tax matters for manufacturing, retail, commercial, and oil and gas properties and interests, as well as many other clients, from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies. He also works with clients who require counsel regarding business personal property valuations on property ranging from heavy manufacturing equipment to commercial trucking and airline fleets. Michael’s practice also involves representing clientele with various special tax valuations and exemptions, including open-space, timberland, and wildlife management valuations and pollution control, landfill, and freeport exemptions.

Michael received his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
